Disability Arts: Music & Movement

Gentle, enjoyable exercise to music for adults with learning and/or physical disabilities including dementia. Suitable for wheelchair users. Mainly chair-based with optional standing and includes the use of some sensory props and handheld musical instruments.

Due to the refurbishment of The Phoenix Theatre & Arts Centre, we are temporarily relocating to The Beehive, Hogmoor Inclosure,  just off Hogmoor Road, Whitehill & Bordon, GU35 9HN.  www.wb-ct.org/beehive  

Join us on Thursday 19th and 26th September and Thursday 3rd October, 10.30am – 11.30am. 

Payment for the classes will be £5 on a pay as you go basis. Regulars and newcomers welcome!

 

Come and be a part of our soothing and delightful exercise session crafted for adults with learning and/or physical disabilities, encompassing those dealing with dementia as well.

Our class primarily focuses on chair-based exercises, enhanced by incorporating sensory props and handheld musical instruments, creating a multisensory journey that engages both body and mind.
