Facilities
The Phoenix Theatre & Arts Centre is a creative and community hub hosting events, classes, workshops and regular interest group meet-ups. We also provide office space for businesses, run after school clubs and holiday activities for children and young people. In addition to this, we work with a number of local schools providing drama activities to complement their core curriculum. Our rooms are available for room hire.
Capacity
Our intimate theatre space has 101 seats and plays host to over 100 shows a year including comedy, drama, music and dance. Aside from our theatre we also have several breakout rooms, a dance studio and a licensed bar.
History
The Phoenix Theatre & Arts Centre, previously known as Barbados House, was constructed in 1906 the building was the Camp School at Louisburg Barracks, Bordon, providing education for junior school children before becoming a Garrison Headquarters in the latter half of the 20th Century.
In 1982 the building got converted into an arts centre, including the addition of the theatre space.
Location
You can find us in the northern part of Bordon, Hampshire where Barbados Road and Station Road intersect just off of the Farnham Road / Lindford Road / Camp Road / Station Road crossroads.

Alan Carr:
Work In Progress Tour
In February 2020 Alan Carr graced the Phoenix Theatre for a four night run of his "Work in Progress" tour.
Frozen Light:
2065
In October 2021, Frozen Light brought their futuristic sensory extravaganza for audiences with profound and multiple learning disabilities to us.
Kuumba Nia Arts:
Sold
In July 2022, Sold came to us, and this told the story of Mary Prince, who provides a rare insight into her life as an enslaved person.
