Beryl Cook: A Private View

This event has ended.

You are invited to this new play about the late, great painter, Beryl Cook, written, performed and painted by Kara Wilson.

The humorous and exuberant paintings of Beryl Cook are known and loved throughout the world but little is known of the very private person behind them. Kara Wilson has worked with the artist’s son, John Cook, to shed light on this intriguing character.

Portraying the artist as she paints in her studio, at the end of the hour-long show, the audience has the opportunity to buy the painting.

This is Kara Wilson‘s fifth play on a painter, and earlier works in this unique genre have toured galleries, auction houses and theatres in Scotland, England, Poland, and New York
