A piece of art showing a train

Railway 200 Exhibition

Marking the 200th anniversary of train travel across the country, coordinated by the Watercress Line’s Education team, 100 individuals and community groups across Hampshire have helped to create a 3D depiction of train travel history, from the 1800s to the present day.

See the panels and enjoy exploring depictions of key events, railways and dates in train and railway history using a variety of textile techniques.

This is a free exhibition that will open on Thursday 27th March at 1pm and be available to view during office hours between Friday 28th March and Tuesday 22nd April.
