Today (01 June) we welcomed Cllr Adam Carew, Chair of East Hampshire District Council, to formally open the theatre since it’s closure due to Covid in March 2020. This event was Cllr Carew’s first engagement since being elected Chair of EHDC.
Cllr Carew expressed his delight at how the building has been updated, in particular how lovely the newly covered seats were in the theatre.
The building came to life once again as audiences took their seats in the newly refurbished auditorium for the screening of Scoob (U) and 23 Walks (12A).
The season continues with a programme of films throughout June and July, with music, theatre and more returning next month.
