Thomas has joined the team as Marketing Assistant, supporting Rob, Jen and Keri in delivering an exciting programme of events and activities in Whitehill & Bordon.
Thomas has lived in the area all his life. He has been heavily involved within the local community through his volunteering with the Scouting Movement, along with being a member of many different amateur dramatics’ groups. Thomas brings a wealth of experience to this role gained whilst working as the Marketing Officer for production company Studio Brunel, when studying at Brunel University.
Thomas is excited to be joining The Phoenix Theatre & Arts Centre, 2 days a week, and looking forward to working within his local community, promoting some of the latest theatre and arts in the area! Thomas will be working closely with Jen Clarke, Marketing Officer, as she steps up to her new role as Audience and Community Engagement Officer.
Jen’s new role is 2 days per week and has been funded by East Hampshire District Council from their Supporting Communities Fund. Jen will continue as Marketing Officer for 1 day per week. Jen will be further promoting audience and community engagement, working in partnership with individuals, groups and organisations in and around Whitehill & Bordon. She’ll be looking to expand the community work currently undertaken by The Phoenix and build on existing relationships, develop new ones and identify opportunities for joint ventures and events.
Both Thomas and Jen are really looking forward to the new challenges ahead.
