Chenda Melam- Drumming workshop

Join us for a two-hour workshop on the art of Chenda Melam drumming, a core part of Keralan culture and a regular accompaniment for Kathakali drama performances. 
Learn about the history of this unique instrument, how to play it and why it's so important both to Kathakali performances and the heritage of Kerala.

This workshop is suitable for all ages and includes a tour of the Kathakali exhibition on display in our interval room.
