Phoenix Beer Festival 2023

A passionate live performer. Micky joins us with a stripped down version of his long standing band for some brilliant originals and classic covers.

Micky Kemp was a late comer to the music scene but wasted no time making a name for himself on both the local music scene and further afield. His first album was released and received widespread acclaim and established him as a talented songwriter.

In 2022 Micky released two albums. The acclaimed “Gloryland”  a hard hitting look at the UK and it’s ongoing highs and lows, and the stunning “Out Of The Darkness”  a five star album packed with songs inspired by classic American sounds.

Kings Pond Shantymen perform shanties and other seafaring songs, interspersed with a few drinking songs and odd ditties. They aim for an authentic shanty style - unaccompanied male voices singing in harmony - on a good day.

They like to just sing and drink a pint or two of beer, but not at the same time as it tends to waste the beer.

The Kernel Panics from Fleet in Hampshire play covers in the genre of garage blues rock. With a toe tapping energetic swagger and swing, they play down-and-dirty grooves that get you movin'.

Solace In Sound brings you fresh music from the sunny south coast of Devon.

He will be performing an acoustic set of original songs from his forthcoming debut album “Welcome To The Wood Lounge”. He will be accompanied by the talented pianist Baiba Singer.

His music is described as ambient & emotive, so why don’t you grab a chair and a pint and enjoy!
